Isn't it annoying when a really pretty girl posts a photo of themselves, whether it be on facebook, instagram or tumblr and call themselves ugly? They don't even look that bad, and I mean, come on, if you thought you looked bad you wouldn't have posted that photo in the first place. People that just fish for compliments by calling themselves ugly is just silly. Same applies when a girl calls themselves fat, when clearly they aren't and don't understand that there quiet possibly are girls that are looking at that picture puzzled as to how that person thinks they are fat.
What are your opinions on this issue?

There are plenty of people who genuinely think they are fat and ugly who, by conventional standards, might not be.
I am one of those people who calls themselves ugly because I do honestly do not find myself attractive... yet people find me beautiful.
People with ED and BDD have a real psychological condition which makes them believe they are fat, so it's hard to tell when people are fishing for compliments are just genuinely unhappy with their looks.
Don't let it annoy you - sometimes the girls saying these things are insecure, shallow, and so on - but sometimes they really believe it's true.

I agree with you. Almost every girl who post that kind of stuff on their facebook or another social network, is doing it just for attention. The ones that really think that they are fat or ugly don't walk on the world saying it. And if they do, it's only to their closest friends, because they trust them for advice or just for support, not for them to say "Oh no, you are crazy! you are SO pretty!" everytime, even if they don't think so.
