So, have you purchased you Soulfest ticket yet?
If you haven't, you're going to be missing out on one hell of a day.
Soulfest is the festival Australia has been needing. Australia has needed a day dedicated to all things neo-soul, jazz, and hip-hop for a long time. And we're not talking that type of rap where artists talk about their designer clothes or sports cars, we're talking about real rap, conscious rap. That is what Soulfest gives to us.
In it's inaugural year, the festival as brought out the big guns, with Common, Maxwell, Aloe Blacc, and Mos Def heading down under for the event. The festivals promoter, International Entertainment Group, the event will be “a unique opportunity to see and hear some of the world’s finest artists in a relaxed atmosphere”.
