Today, psych-rockers Moses Gunn Collective have unleashed the video for their recently released dreamy single 'Back into the Womb'. Not only have they been bewitching stages around the country during The Jungle Giants tour, they're also due to release their debut full length album Mercy Mountain later this year. Today it was also announced that they signed a booking deal with Select Music.
The video was filmed my Joe Agius, the frontman of The Creases'. As expected - the video sees them dripping from head-to-toe in metallics - from glitter body paint, tinselled hair, bedazzled and lustrous fabrics, and glittery capes. When describing the video they said “the idea was to create a micro-universe, a glitter-laden womb in which we could dance around and laugh and play. We made the costumes and covered our bodies and living room in glitter... We're actually still cleaning it all up a few weeks later, don’t tell our landlord.”
After establishing themselves in their hometown of Brisbane, they're ready to take on the rest of the country and the world. Their recent EP Morning Shakes and singles such 'Shalala' and 'Mary' have been gaining hype and heavy radio play on triple j and community stations.
