We play 'What Song...' with The Stiffys

Hi everybody it's your boys The Stiffys here we're influenced by heaps of different music so we were so excited to do this interview all about our favourite songs. We're about to go in to the studio to record a new EP called Art Rock which is going to be basically the most art record anyone has ever heard. We're also really excited to be playing some festivals coming up. Great job everybody and always remember to stay art and stay festival and stay wickedd!

What song reminds you of your youth?
We’re still living it so probably whatever is in the hottest 40 hits right now I don’t know probably something by Totally Unicorn or Born Lion or DZ Deathrays or Shaquille O’Neal.

What song is your ultimate party track?
Probably our new song Space Blog we haven’t recorded it yet but it’s about writing blogs in space it’s probably the most art thing we’ve ever made it’s so art it’s only available in demo form so we pretty much listen to the exclusive before we party which is all day every day.

What song do you listen to before you jump on stage?
The theme from Jurassic Park really gets us in the mood before we get on the stage we also like to listen to "I Like to Move It Move It" by Reel 2 Real because it's about liking to move it move it and also liking to move it move it and liking to move it.

What song would you make your theme song?
We would probably make our theme song the theme song from The Golden Girls because it's all about friendship and travelling down roads and throwing parties together and about getting the best presents ever.

What song reminds you of your first heartbreak?
Neither of us have ever experienced heartbreak because of our positive energy and love of life and also the drinks but if we had to pick a song it would probably be Rock Your Body by Justin Timberlake.

What do you have on repeat right now?
We've been listening to Tubthumping by Chumbawumba on repeat for basically the past fifteen years because it's all about having a great time and also about having different types of drinks we're really expanding our drinks knowledge at the moment since we stopped drinking Passion Pop because they haven't replied to our emails for endorsement.

What song is your guilty pleasure?
We've been listening to a lot of those YouTube remixes of interviews where they put people's voices through autotune and turn it in to a song we've been thinking of turning our band into a YouTube interview remix band but our manager keeps telling us it's a very bad idea and also to put the drinks down.
