VIGILANTES - 'Elasticity'
The video was directed over 3 nights around locations such as Redfern, Sydney, and the CBD. It also sees them act as the main characters, with friends stepping for roles as extras - including Andy Bull, Art vs Science, and Pluto Jonze. They also pay homage to classic films such as 'The Warriors' and 'The Breakfast Club'. The clip was directed by Joseph Timbs and conceptualised by VIGILANTES.
AYLA - 'Waiting'
The emotional-driven clip displays scenes of isolation that shows the songstress literally waiting, such as a crowded bar, edge of a shoreline, and an empty restaurant. Overall the clip shows the social, physical and emotional separation we feel sometimes at certain moments. AYLA has also been announced to appear at BIGSOUND this year, where she will be playing a myriad of highly anticipated tracks from her forthcoming debut EP.
Ali E - 'Track One'
Fresh from the release of her latest EP Creatures, Ali E has unleashed an eccentric video for her new single 'Track One'. The quirky clip features it all including eerie baby dolls, as well as dancing aliens decked out in the finest metallic attire. This is a must see!
Bow and Arrow - 'Midnight'
Directed by Ryan Kwanten from True Blood and shot in under 3.5 hours, the sensual clip shows a range of different scenes centred around the idea of midnight. When discussing the clip, the director said "midnight is a rush. A rush of blood to the heart. It's one of those songs that gets you and gets YOU- speaks to what you won't put up with, what you will overcome, what makes you tick and it let's you know you are not alone."
