Metric have announced an upcoming full length album set for release on September 18th this year. Pagans in Vegas will be the Toronto quartet's sixth studio album.
Inspired by the likes of Depeche Mode, Joy Division, and Underworld, their new album will be divided into two, with the second part coming in 2016. In a statement, Emily Haines explains that the release is based on “the romance of another time without falling into nostalgia.” They spent 2014 writing and recording the album, it was also recorded at the studio of lead guitarist James Shaw.
More details of the album will be released soon, but in the meantime you can enjoy their most recent release 'New Shade'. The track has been gaining immense hype for it's futuristic synth pop vibes and it's vibrance.
