NEW MUSIC: Yeo - 'Quiet Achiever'

Monday, June 29, 2015

Yeo has spent this year dominating the stages at Kyneton Music Festival and Moomba. He has also been busy the last 18 months touring including maiden international shows at Canadian Music Week 2014 and US headliners in NYC and LA, two headline Australian tours, a showcase at Big Sound 2014, as well as local dates alongside Glass Animals and Fractures. Yeo has been gaining momentum and fans from all corners of the world.

Last week he unleashed his new single 'Quiet Achiever', which is also set to appear on his forthcoming album due this year. The dance track, which is borderline trap, is guaranteed to be on high rotation at a club near you.

Yeo combines many different elements throughout the track, including uplifting synths in the opening part, but then he also switches it up with gritty bass-heavy trap beats in the chorus. Sure, lyrically there is no meaning, but does that even matter? I don't think so. This track is all about good vibes. Overall, Yeo has delivered an addictive dance number that could seamlessly slot into your weekend playlists.
