GIG NEWS: THIS THAT Festival Lineup Announcement
Anyone along the Central coast of NSW would surely agree when I say that there is a definite lack of opportunities for those lovers of music, artisan foods and superb beverages to gather together and boogie as one… that is UNTIL NOW. “This That” is a brand new festival to hit the shores of Newcastle and bring with it an array of treats.
The 18+ boutique event offers a range of fanciful drinks, fine foods and incase if just that wasn’t enough to entice you to the Newcastle Foreshore… maybe some groovy tunes will do the trick.
“This That” is a two stage event, offering some indie/alt-rock on the “This” stage, and some heavy beats on the “That” stage, there will be something to please every kind of ear.
Sydney act RUFUS, are heading the lineup, along with fellow heavyweights, Sticky Fingers (returning from a short hiatus), Birds of Tokyo, The Kite String Tangle, Tkay Maidza, Jungle Giants and Carmada. Just in-case those weren’t enough, the international trap-lord himself Baauer will be delivering some tunes for your hip-shaking pleasure, along with Slumberjack, Asta, Kilter and others. See the full lineup below.
The culinary delights on offer have been “carefully constructed by local niche restaurants and the best of Sydney’s internationally renowned food trucks” while the drinks promise ““small batch brew craft beer, wine, cider and fresh poured mixed spirits, and cocktail lists curated by the region’s clickiest bars and speakeasies,”. While all of these are exciting your taste buds like crazy, it would not be complete without THE OTHER. An artisan market designed to put Etsy to shame and to connect like-minded creatives in a collaborative fusion.
“This That” is definitely an event not to miss- so come, decorate your beard with flowers, tantalise your taste buds and dabble in the weird and wonderful.
