Last Dinosaurs have unvailed a new single entitled 'Apollo', which is set to appear on their forthcoming album Wellness due for release on August 28. The release of the single has also come with news of a nationwide tour this September and October, where they will be playing both overage and underage shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Canberra and Perth. The tour will be their second for the year, their first tour was highly successful and saw them sell out most of their stops around the country.
Their new single 'Apollo' is an upbeat number that is sure to be a favourite with the crowd during their upcoming tour. Featuring vivacious riffs and a groovin' baseline, the track couldn't be anymore addictive. Lead singer and guitarist Sean Caskey explains “It’s about the scene in The Matrix when Neo is offered the red pill and the blue pill by Morpheus. The moment in time when someone who's curious about something more, to take the dive on the edge of uncertainty into an alternative life.”
In the summer, the lads from Last Dinosaurs took a few months off for some well deserved R&R, as well as spending some time creating new material at The Grove studios with producer Scott Horscroft (Silverchair, Empire of The Sun, The Presets), situated in New South Wales' central coast.
