FEATURE: Music Video Highlights From The Week - Part 2

It's time for part two of our music video discoveries from this week to finish off your Friday. Check out some of our latest findings below.

Peaches - 'Light In Places'
After her successful run at shows in Australia earlier in the year at Groovin' The Moo and Vivid Sydney, she has announced a new album entitled Rub, her first new album in 6 years, set for release on September 25th. Also, she will be directing and curating each video that comes from the album, which includes her new video for 'Light In Places'. The video for the single was written for and stars UK performance artist/aerialist Empress Stah.

Youngs - 'Serasan Shakes' 
Melbourne four-piece Youngs released their brand new single 'Serasan Shakes' last month, this week they released the music video to accompany it. The band are named after 19th Century scientist/philosopher Thomas Young. Their music video was directed by Sami 'Misklectic' Sommariva, who happens to have a background in sculpture. She also worked on projects with the likes of Max Cooper, Flying Lotus, Sleep D and many more. Youngs have also been working with acclaimed visual artist Meat Sauce in creating a new live show, dates are coming soon. In the meantime, you can catch them on August 15th at Hugs & Kisses in Melbourne. Appearing at the launch will be Nico Ghost and Orches, doors open 8pm.

Ripley - 'Harper's Song'
Joe Braithwaite (of Lowrider) has launched a new solo project called Ripley and will be releasing his debut EP entitled Bigger Than Me on August 11 via iTunes. 'Harper's Song' is a delicate lullaby for his newborn, in a statement he says, "It's a message for my daughter to have for the rest of her life," (awwwwww). If you're in Melbourne, you can catch him at Cellar Bar in St Kilda at a free show tonight, doors open 8pm. More dates will be coming soon so watch this space.

Goldroom - 'Tradewinds'
After the re-release of his triple j Hottest 100 charting single 'Embrace' featuring George Maple, LA producer and songwriter Goldroom has released his new single which comes from his EP It's Like You Never Went Away. Watch the visuals to the captivating track below.
