NEWS: New Order Release 'Restless' Video + New Album Coming Next Month

Wednesday, August 19, 2015

New Order have unveiled their brand new video for their latest single 'Restless', which has been taken off their forthcoming album Music Complete

The clip was directed by acclaimed Spanish filmmakers NYSU, who have worked with the likes of Wild Beasts, Philip Selway from Radiohead and NCMG in the past. The central narrative of the clip depicts the legend of Excalibur for the 21st Century. It features scenes of debauchery, raves, and food fights - creating an otherworldly utopia. Amongst this is a touching love story.

Their new album was produced by themselves, except for 'Singularity' and 'Unlearn This Hatred', which were both produced by Tom Rowlands. ‘Superheated’ features additional production by Stuart Price, ‘Plastic’ was mixed by Richard X. It will also feature collaborations with Brandon Flowers, Iggy Pop, and Elly Jackson (La Roux).

Music Complete is set for release of September 25. In addition, there will be an exclusive 8-piece deluxe vinyl collection that includes the album plus extended versions of all 11 tracks on coloured vinyl.
