FEATURE: We Play 'What Song...' With I Know Leopard

Tuesday, October 20, 2015

They've done it all recently from finishing up a support slot with Gang Of Youths, to releasing their sophomore EP Another Life - Sydney dream-pop band I Know Leopard sure have been busy. Lead singer Luke O'Loughlin took some time out from their current tour to take part in our most latest edition of 'What Song...' For current tour dates, scroll down below.

What song reminds you of your youth?
Probably 'Remember the Time' by Michael Jackson. It brings back memories of countless hours watching MJ clips and learning the choreography from start to finish.

What song is your go to party track?
'Bugatti' by Tiga. It's a total banger but more importantly it's a little bit bizarre so it inspires you to pull some weird shapes on the dance floor.

What song would you love to sample?
Several sections out of 'What a Fool Believes' by The Doobie Brothers. That song is just jam-packed with hooks both vocal and musical.

What song do you have on repeat right now?
'Breaker' by Deerhunter. It's got such a classic, nostalgic feel to it. One listen has me reflecting on the good times and the people I love.

What song get’s you excited to go on stage?
'Walk' by Pantera. It's like an injection of energy.

What song is your guilty pleasure?
I have so many but 'Toxic' by Britney Spears is one that has always stayed with me. I think it's such a masterful piece of songwriting.
