FEATURE: 10 People That Could Appear On Stage With Taylor Swift When She Hits Australia

Hugh Jackman
He’s so tall and handsome as hell.  He’s also in the country at the same time and we all know the dude can sing and dance!  He seems to be a fun loving guy who could definitely be another A-list addition to her ever-growing squad.

Mainly because we’re fans of their music, they’re touring at the same time and it’d be great to see what the three of them could come up with.  Perhaps a remixed version of ‘Love Story’?  We’re keen to see if they could pull that off or if the result would be akin to Ted Mosby’s red cowboy boots.  Also given that they are from Brooklyn and she is from Tribeca, they could save on travel costs.  We need T. Swizz to top nemesis Katy Perry on the Forbes list of highest earning women in music next year.  #teamtaylor

Jimmy Barnes
If T. Swizz really wants to win over the Aussie punters then surely Barnesy is the answer.  He has been impressive on tour with Cold Chisel of late and a collaborative performance of ‘Flame Trees’ could potentially de-throne Sarah Blasko with her cover.  Add a dash of ‘Khe Sahn’ or ‘Working Class Man’ to send him off and we’d be eating out of the palm of her hand.

Tupac as a hologram
We know it’s been done but how fucking good was it?

Chris Cornell
Also in Australia at the time, the Soundgarden & Audioslave front man could be the second ‘Cornell’ to take the stage with Taylor, the first being Cornell Haynes Jnr aka Nelly.  Surely her crowd would appreciate a bit of ‘Cochise’ right?

Taylor would absolutely slay at covering Emeli Sandé in ‘Free’.  One might say it’d be ‘rude’ to deny us this experience and the performance would be  ‘mental’...

Isabella Manfredi
Because #squadgoals.

This chick kicks absolute arse with her band The Preatures and everyone needs her in their squad every day of the week.  Without sounding like a preacher, Lord, please make this happen, this is how I feel.

Tkay Maidza
She’s another kick arse Aussie woman to add to the list.  Tkay’s original hip-hop style would be a refreshing addition to Taylor’s set and she could even cover K Dot’s verses in ‘Bad Blood’.  This could be just the exposure Tkay needs to blast her into superstardom in the U.S.

Chet Faker
There cannot be a list formulated in this country that excludes Mr. Faker.  Speaking of lists, this could be the opportunity for Tay Tay and Chet to address their non-existent beef over her controversial late disqualification from Triple J’s Hottest 100 countdown earlier this year.  Or IRL he could be a killer guest on ‘Everything Has Changed’ and ‘The Last Time’ in lieu of Ed Sheeran and Gary Lightbody (Snow Patrol).

Either or both of the Sewell kids
Conrad Sewell and his sister Grace are both insanely talented and could undoubtedly hold their own on that stage.  Conrad would enhance pretty much any song from her extensive catalogue and perhaps Grace could help out on the song ‘State of Grace’ because her name is Grace and it’s in the song and that’s funny, kind of.  My cat’s breath smells like cat food.

Aaaaaaannnnnndddd then there’s the long shot...

She’s in Oz around the same time but admittedly it’s a million to one chance of happening.  We bet, however that Michelle and Stevie Payne, along with the cute legend Prince Of Penzance would take those odds.  Frank Costanza would also have to agree that there is a possibility!
