Brooklyn experimental rockers Yeasayer have returned - this time with the release of their first official single from forthcoming album Amen & Goodbye, which is set to be released on April 1.
The track, entitled 'Silly Me', is psychedelic uptempo dance goodness. The futuristic track will take you on a journey through the cosmos during it's entire 3:22 duration. The release of 'Silly Me' is exciting for Yeasayer fans around the globe, with even more amazing things to come from them in the coming months.
Their new album will see them return to basics, drifting away from the digital-heavy approach they took on their 2012 release Fragrant World. Their upcoming album was also was cut entirely to tape at Outlier Inn Studio in upstate New York. Joey Waronker (Atoms For Peace, Beck) used his creative magic to assist in the production of their music and to construct a record that is set to explore ideas of religion, transcendence, the afterlife, and the search for meaning.
