JP Klipspringer – 'The Beast'
Melbourne favourite JP Klipspringer has returned with new single 'The Beast'. His new single is set to appear on his forthcoming album, due for release this September. The track sweet vocal melodies as well as introspective lyrics that will continue to be glued in your mind, even after one listen. JP is one to watch, especially after his successes of the last year, which included sold out headline shows at Ding Dong Lounge and The Workers Club.
George Maple – 'Sticks and Horses' (ft. GoldLink)
Australian-born and now LA-based, George Maple, has released a new track and video entitled 'Sticks and Horses'. The trap and inspired track is based on her observations on "power, sex, money and greed". It also features D.C. rapper GoldLink, who spits a killer verse on the track. The video is an amazing extension of the track and portrays the role of the black widow spider luring her victim...it's also incredibly incredibly sexy and NSFW!
Verge Collection – 'Class of '09''
Released via Pilerats last month, 'Class of '09'' is the latest number from Perth's Verge Collection. The indie lads have already had a massive start to 2016, with some big shows on the cards including festival slots at Groovin' The Moo and RTR FM's In The Pines, plus upcoming supports with Cold War Kids, Skeggs and plenty more soon to come up.
The Gotobeds – 'Brash Not Rash'
'Brash Not Rash is set to appear on The Gotobeds upcoming album Blood // Sugar // Secs // Traffic. The catchy post-punk track is perfection. In response to the track's release, Eli Kasan from the band said, "“I'm a short guy with stomach problems and the label made me dye my hair blonde; please buy my new mp3 Brass Not Rash before I kill myself.”
Conner Youngblood – 'A Summer Song'
He grew up in Dallas and now is based in Nashville, the home of music. Conor Youngblood began by playing clarinet and banjo in middle school and eventually started writing and recording songs in his college dorm. Featuring original instrumentation, 'A Summer Song' is a chilled track that is reminiscent of all the beautiful things we love about summer.
