Saatsuma, a collaboration between Memphis Kelly, Joel Ma and Cesar Rodrigues, have unleashed a soulful release that reflects powerful and emotional concepts of insomnia and solitude. 'Floating' was mixed by Dream Kit and also mastered by Lachlan Carrick.
The newly released music video is an extension of the ideas expressed in the song, brought to life through movement, dance and expression. Overall, the video does a wonderful job in showing the correlation between Insomnia and the moment one falls asleep, to the moment one frees themselves from anxiety and pain.
Live, the band are a five-piece ensemble. The band is fronted by Memphis Kelly and joined by Cesar Rodrigues, Maddy Kelly, Lachlan Stuckey and Andrew Congues. After supporting the likes of Olympia, Dorsal Fins, Milwuakee Banks and Thelma Plum, and selling out a show at Shebeen in Melbourne, Saatsuma will be playing a launch show for 'Floating' at The Toff In Town in Melbourne on July 9th. Supporting guests for the night will include Eilish Gilligan and Ocdantar.
