SINGLE REVIEW: The Preatures — 'I Know A Girl'

Friday, August 5, 2016

After dominating at Splendour in the Grass 2016, The Preatures have returned with new single 'I Know A Girl'. Their brand new song is a slice from their upcoming album, which is due for release sometime this year.

'I Know A Girl' features a mix of retro inspired instrumentals and Izzi Manfredi's oozing vocals. The uplifting rock track also exhibits shimmering lo-fi guitars that contribute to the dance-esque vibes of the song. The Preatures new single is a toe-tapping number that without a doubt will be stuck in your head for hours (not that I'm complaining). The song will take you on a time warp away from the dreariness of Australia's current freezing climate to the California in summer during the 80s, where your hair is blowing in all directions on the highway, most likely in a Cadillac with the roof down (how's that for some imagery?).

If you missed them a Splendour in the Grass, be sure to catch The Preatures while they rock On The Green along with The Temper Trap and Garbage.
