Experimental R&B wizards Huntly have been grinding hard lately, having played at BIGSOUND 2016 and Melbourne Music Week this year — they've also got an upcoming appearance at Paradise Music Festival. Recently, they dropped their new single 'Please'.
'Please' is a multi-dimensional electronic track about heartbreak. The song smoothly transitions through different soundscapes, from the lush synth-heavy first portion of the track to pulse-like percussion in the last section of the song. Singers Charlie and Elspeth rotate verses with ease and their vocals compliment one another.
2016 has been the year Huntly said they would stick to their manifesto, "get sad, writer a banger". It's certainly working for them. We can't wait to see what they have planned in 2017.
