Polish Club have dropped the video for their recent single 'Beat Up'. It's been a massive eighteen months for the duo, having completed supporting slots on tours with Northeast Party House, Courtney Barnett and Gang of Youths.
The lo-fi clip was also directed by the band themselves and saw them collaborate with Sydney-based motion artist, graphic designer, editor Willy Bernardoff. The grayscale clip experiments with eye-catching distortion and glitchy graphics, reminiscent of a bad internet connection. They clip also features a bit of light slapping between the two lads.
“We ended up embracing data moshing and lo-res images and shit videos and weird repetition and bad composition. The end look was kinda out of our hands a bit. We just went with it, didn’t really fuss around with much of it compositionally. We hope you hate it,” say the band.
