News: Holy Holy Announce New Album 'Paint' + New Single Out Now

Friday, November 18, 2016

Holy Holy, who also happen to be on tour right now, have announced details about their highly anticipated sophomore album. Titled Paint, it has been set for release on February 24, 2017.  They've also provided a slice of what's to come with new single 'Elevator'.

In a statement, lead guitarist Oscar Dawson reflects on their new single, “I can’t recall how it germinated, but before we knew it we were playing this same two chords, over and over.  And it built from there, like a conversation; starting softly, then bouncing around to become louder and louder… It had been caught on a phone when we were touring in Europe, and back in Australia we put it together and decided that, in fact, it is a song.”

It's been a busy year Holy Holy, and finishing the year playing major sold out gigs Corner Hotel in Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane in the coming weeks sees them round up 2016 in style.
