New Music: Major Leagues – 'It Was Always You'

Friday, March 31, 2017

The first thing I'm going to say about Major League's new single 'It Was Always You' is that I'm glad I clicked it at 4 pm on a Friday.

'It Was Always You' has all the parts of a special magical potion, and it's hard not to fall in love with it. It's the finest example I've heard recently of garage pop. It's catchy as hell, and if you don't become addictive to it, you're doing it all wrong. 'It Was Always You' has the nostalgic vibes that usually comes along with garage pop, but it's not cliché. Major Leagues also mix all of this goodness with phenomenal lo-fi production. I want this in liquid form so I can drink it. Can we do this?

Major Leagues are also playing a few shows in April, if you want to catch them live, check out the dates below.

Tour dates:
20th April - The Foundry - Brisbane
27th April - Golden Age Cinema & Bar - Sydney
29th April - Rare Finds 2nd Birthday - Oxford Art Factory - Sydney
