Feature: We Play 'What Song...' With Eliza Klatt from Eliza & The Delusionals

Sunday, April 2, 2017

Local pop/rock project Eliza & The Delusionals has been busy lately. In 2016, they embarked on two tours around the country. They've also got supporting shows coming up with Polish Club, and recently played a show with The VANNS. Eliza Klatt took a little time out to star in our latest edition of 'What Song...'

What song reminds you of your youth?
It would have to be 'Sk8er Boi' by Avril Lavigne, she was my hero when I was growing up and this was my ultimate Singstar jam as a kid.

What song is your ultimate party track?
Right now I'd have to say Polish Club's new track 'Come Party' would be for sure my ultimate party jam!

What song do you listen to before you jump on stage?
I love listening to 'Now' by Paramore sometimes before a show, it's such a singalong track for me and it puts me in a super pumped mood.

What song would you make your theme song?
Hahah, I would have to go with John Cena's theme song. I don't know why, but it is the best theme song ever.

What song reminds you of your first heartbreak?
This is a really tough question for me, but I guess I'd have to say 'I Miss You' by Blink 182. I swear that song reminds everyone of their first heartbreak!

What do you have on repeat right now?
Right now I'm absolutely obsessed with the song 'She Said' by UK band Sundara Karma. I'm so in love with it!

What song is your guilty pleasure?
I will say that I know all the words to Smashmouth's 'All Star'.

Be sure to catch Eliza & The Delusionals supporting Polish Club at Elsewhere, Gold Coast on May 26th! You can catch the video for their recent single 'Salt' below:
