You released ‘Hereafter’ a few months ago. The track is an alternative take of ‘Autumn Dawn’. Why did you decide to do this?
We had some tracks that we chose not to put on the record and we decided to put them out as b-sides on a couple 7”s
You’re playing 3 shows in Melbourne, which is incredible! How excited are you about coming to Australia?
We're really excited, we've been wanting to get to play in Australia for years and we're happy it's finally happening.
Because it’s your first trip to Australia, is there anything you’re looking forward to doing? You currently have The Babe Rainbow supporting you on tour in the US. What has it been like having them on tour with you?
Yeah, the Babes in the Rainbows are gonna teach us a how to build spiral gardens in Byron bay and hopefully we're going to surf with some sharks.
Have the given you any tips on what to expect when you come here?
"Egg-nition-er" = Air conditioner
What’s your favourite song to play live?
Sometimes people really get a hoot when we play instrumentals which is especially satisfying because it says a little about the universality of music.
You’re playing Coachella soon, which is exciting. You played the festival a few years ago, how do you think this year will be different?
It's very possible Lady Gaga will be on stage with us, or us on stage with her.
What’s the plan when you finish up the shows?
We're going to Bali to taste the rainbow.
Are you going to rest up or record more?
We have quite a bit more touring planned for this year but we're always working on new jammers. Expect new recordings late this year and more next year.
