Meg Mac is back again with her new single 'Low Blows'. The track was recorded in Forth Worth, Texas Niles City Sound Studio, along with additional production recorded at Electric Lady in New York.
'Low Blows' is a powerful number and it will be stuck in your head for hours. The chorus hits hard, and you can feel the words lingering on the goosebumps of your skin. Meg notes in a statement that the song was written in Melbourne on a piano in her bedroom. Lyrically, it's emotional and incredibly raw, especially with words like "Working on my own until the work gets cold/ That's when I don't like it / But I can't leave anything alone". The track strikes a cord, and you can feel it.
The video for the track was filmed around Niles City Sound studio on her iPhone while she was there recording her new album.
If 'Low Blows' is a preview of things to come, we're eager to hear more, pronto.
