Single Review: The Jungle Giants – ‘On Your Way Down’

Wednesday, May 31, 2017

We all have days when something goes wrong. The car won’t start. You run out of coffee. You get dumped. Or you just can’t find your left shoe. On those days, normally all you want to do is get back into bed and listen to sad music on repeat.

Instead, I recommend getting up, slapping a smile on your face and blasting The Jungle Giants through your headphones. The Brisbane four piece’s music is the perfect antidote to any bad day, and their newly released single 'On Your Way Down' is no exception. As lead singer Sam Hales says “It makes you want to dance, but also clench your fists”. I couldn’t agree more. In fact, I guarantee it will take just one listen of this catchy drum and bass track before you dance your way out of a bad day and into a good mood.

'On Your Way Down' is the second single from their soon to be released third album Quiet Ferocity, due out on July 7th. If you’re a fan of summery indie beats, then make sure you put the date in your diary and get yourself a copy; good vibes and danceable rhythms are guaranteed.
