Sydney duo Lamalo have come together with Hayden Buchanan to create a track that’s coming to unleash so many feels that you’re not going to know what to do with them all...well, except press repeat and keep jamming ‘Come Over’. New single ‘Come Over’ explores the complications and difficulties of being a long-distance relationship. In a statement, they note that the song is actually about Hayden Buchanan’s ex, where the relationship becomes difficult as they were both growing apart and had individual dreams they wanted to follow. Despite the heaviness in the lyrics, the production lifts the lyrics up so they're not as downcast. Buchanan’s smooth vocals compliment the beat and I think they work harmoniously together. I also love how they’ve used space to create a whimsical and airy vibe. Before the track was recorded, it was actually making waves during their live shows. It’s no wonder why they chose to record it, it’s absolutely bewitching.
