Single Review: Strange Names – 'Into Me'

Friday, November 10, 2017

Strange Names have delivered our favourite tune for this fine Friday, and we're hooked. Their latest single 'Into Me', released via Frenchkiss records, will have you grooving all the way into the weekend.

'Into Me' mixes nostalgic dance vibes with new wave pop. It's the song I would want to be played at that awkward school dance — it has the power to make even the shyest person want to bust out a few moves. It's this feeling of nostalgia in 'Into Me' that will have you smiling from ear-to-ear. The synths are refreshing to a degree and wash through the track to maintain its buoyant energy. It's also hard not to love the contagious joy absorbed in the melody. I can assure you that it won't leave your head for hours. 'Into You' is the first single to be released from their upcoming second album, and if it's anything to go by, the album is going to be absolutely incredible.
