Now Playing: Middle Kids – ‘Mistake'

Monday, February 12, 2018

Sydney siders, Middle Kids, dropped their latest guitar fuelled single recently. 'Mistake' provides the latest preview of their debut album Lost Friends, which is out on 4th May, and it is nothing if not right. Following on from their previous singles 'Edge of Town' and 'Your Love', 'Mistake' continues in the same uplifting, charging, emotive manner.

The bridge teases and builds to an incredibly catchy chorus, as you remember all the times problems have crept up on you but you don't know what to say. As with all of Middle Kids' tracks, you only want to sing along, dance around and get lost in the synthy, ethereal, bass chugging sound.

Since the release of their self-titled EP last year, the trio has gained a loyal fan base both in Australia and internationally leading to support slots with the likes of The War On Drugs and Gang Of Youths. Their March shows are about to sell out in Sydney and Melbourne, so don’t make a mistake, move fast!
