Now Playing: Eliza and the Delusionals – 'Half Empty Girl'

Wednesday, June 27, 2018

Mark the day and time! Eliza and the Delusionals have dropped another stellar single, 'Half Empty Girl'. The track features jazzy upbeat chords, boppy lead guitar runs and a head bobbers dream in the drumlines. All these parts work together to support Eliza’s powerful vocals.

The track has a sense of direction behind it, building from minimal layers through the track to a fulfilled chorus highlighted by the title hook — “What does it take to be a man/Just a half empty girl/You don’t need to hold my hand”.

The upbeat track has helped solidify a trail of great releases from the Queensland-based band over the past year and if this first drop of 2018 is anything to go by, the track hints at the great potential the growing band has to offer.
