Montreal-based Men I Trust has unveiled their breezy new single 'Seven'. It's exciting times for the electro-pop band as they're also set to appear at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival this November at Dodger Stadium in LA. Along with this, they are also set to tour around North America this October and November.
'Seven' features a revival of the shimmering 70s, but with a dreamy twist. The single brings to life the freedom of summer nights and the crazy stories that come from adventures during this time. 'Seven' talks about a guy has ventured out into the woods and sees something that leaves him feeling curious. The lyrics are surreal and whimsical in the way they portray the narrative of the song – "In the shadows he saw four eyes, lit by fire / He’d never done that with a lover, before / Either early or too late, it was number seven / High like a bird with his beak through the window". Through the use of airy vocals, an entrancing bass-line and impassioned guitars, you can't help but want to move.
Let Men I Trust's 'Seven' take you on a surreal adventure below.
