UPDATED* Gig News: Arctic Monkeys are heading to Australia in 2019

2019 is already looking good with powerhouse outfit Arctic Monkeys announcing that they will be heading to Australia early next year. The last time they were here was back in 2014, where they played a series of arenas around the country. This time, they will be playing tunes off of their sixth LP Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.

On triple j this morning, frontman Alex Turner said that the shows will consist of a mix of tracks from across their discography.

They're also set to bring LA-based Mini Mansions, who are fresh from releasing their latest EP.

Presale tickets go on sale 10am local time on 30th October and are available for Telstra customers only (limited to 4 tickets per transaction). General sale is on 7th November at 2pm local time.
