If you don't have Bathe on your radar, you better hurry as they're about to be everywhere. This week, the duo unveiled their impressive debut single 'Sure Shot'.

Masters of surf R&B, the duo's powerful new release explores toxic masculinity and its impact on black men. On Soundcloud they say, "This song is about the destructive cycle of paranoia and toxic masculinity that black men endure and are often forced to embody as a consequence of existing under a constant threat of violence. It was inspired by the lives of our respective father figures."

Though one listen of the track may leave you thinking that's it's solely a soothing single, it's so much more than that. 'Sure Shot' is a raw and reflective track that features compelling lyricism — "Caught your shadow at the bus stop / Bet your not ready for what I got". Devin Hobdy's vocals are cool and composed, whilst Corey Smith-West's delicate guitar work compliments Devin's breezy vocal tones.

'Sure Shot' is only the beginning for Bathe — get ready for their takeover.
