Suffolk-based Bessie Turner has unleashed her new single 'Nino', which was released via her own label Don't Try along with Lab Records.
'Nino' is a personal release for Bessie Turner, with the track taking the form of a confession. The track expresses her own feelings of self-doubt and feeling overwhelmed by various aspects of her life. On 'Nino', she says "The song has some well disguised personal references that relate to me…body image, boredom, sex, and that feeling like you want to go into self-destruct mode because of it all. Life can overwhelm and consume everybody and having someone there to give you a push or a boost is sometimes all it takes". She tells her personal story through the use of shimmering guitars and airy (yet splendid) vocals.
