Today, we're excited to bring you Luke Carlino's new music video for his single ‘This Won't Go Well’. It's been busy times for the Melbourne-based singer-songwriter, as he's releasing his EP Beasts this Friday. His last single 'Minute' was also on the receiving end of a bit of love on triple j Unearthed and made their top ten.
‘This Won't Go Well’ is further proof of his dazzling brand of songwriting. Featuring vocals by Sasha March, the track is another magnificent addition to Beasts. On the video, Luke said:
This Won't Go Well is a very bare and honest song, and I wanted the clip to match that. We had people come in and gave them no direction on what to write on their cards, with the couples not seeing one another's cards until on camera so we could get the same kind of honesty in the visuals. I had the idea for this clip the minute I wrote the song so seeing it come to reality and capturing some beautiful moments and sentiments - both good and bad - is the perfect companion piece for this track.
