Amsterdam-based artist Someone (aka Tessa Rose Jackson) has unleashed her new single ‘Pull It Together’ via [PIAS] Recordings and you’re about to fall in love with the track just as much as we have. Utterly enchanting, ‘Pull It Together’ is an infectious tune that will be on repeat in your head for hours.
Someone’s spacey psych-pop single dives straight into a whimsical world with the sudden appearance of her words, “I don’t know why I can’t pull it together”. Her vocals are light and airy and glide over the track’s psych-pop instrumentals with ease. ‘Pull It Together’ is the type of track that provides listeners with an immersive experience and it's stunning.
Her EP Orbit will see Someone host an interactive exhibition in Groningen between 16th to 19th January where she will feature an array of abstract artworks inspired by space. When the artworks are viewed through a phone or tablet, the artwork will come to live and the associated song connected to artwork will then play. More information is available here.
If Orbit is just as magical as ‘Pull It Together’, we’re all in store for a treat.
