Earlier this year, we stumbled across Beauty Queen, which is a new project led by San Francisco-raised artist Katie Iannitello. Just when we thought ‘Goner’ was absolutely magical, she’s done it again with ‘The Only One’.
Throughout ‘The Only One’, Iannitello takes listeners to a dreamy and retro world that’s full of sunshine and lemonade stands. The track’s glorious vocals only amplify the dreamlike nature of the track, with Iannitello’s voice gliding over the production with ease. If you listen carefully, you might also hear the sound of a dog barking weaved into the track’s intricate production towards the end.
