Amsterdam-based dream-pop group Dakota shared their splendid debut album Here's The 101 On How To Disappear early last month, and featuring on the release is their breathtaking track ‘Alike’.
Starring sweeping instrumentals, ‘Alike’ is a reflective track that explores the similarities we can sometimes share as humans — the band say, “The song is about how people are easily influenced by each other and are more alike than they know or like to admit”. This exploration of identity is only amplified by the track’s soaring chorus, dreamy vocals and stunning combination of shoegaze pop and alternative.
