NYC five-piece Barrie have released more magic into the world with their latest single 'Saturated', which is yet another addition to their growing collection of mesmerising singles. The band are also getting ready to release their highly anticipated debut album Happy To Be Here. The album is due for release on May 3rd via Winspear. Also set to appear on the album are their previous singles 'Darjeeling' and 'Clovers'.
'Saturated' is a minimal yet incredibly intricate song, starring warm vocals, lush beats and heartwarming lyricism. Despite the mellow nature of the track, it’s packed with an undeniable degree of warmth. On the single, they said, "This song is pretty pure. It came out fully formed, sounding mostly like how it sounds now. It’s minimal and exposed, kind of vulnerable but in a confident way. I want people to relate to that state of pure, open saturation. I want this song to feel like a crush.”
