New York four-piece Maybird shared their dreamy new single ‘To You’ a few weeks ago. It's also set to feature on their upcoming debut album Things I Remember From Earth on May 3rd via 30th Century Records.
‘To You’ is a rousing track about self-acceptance and following your instincts — as well as how different individuals have an array of needs. It’s a reflective offering by the band and one that will make you stop and ponder the words you hear. The mellowness of ‘To You’ is mixed with a magnetic bassline and warm guitars, and the result is very dreamlike.
Their forthcoming album is set to see them draw on influences such as Kurt Vonnegut and themes of human purpose.
