With the release of the first part of their debut album Infancy coming up next Friday, The Ninth Wave has unleashed one last taste with 'First Encounters'. The second part of Infancy is due in November.
'First Encounters' is about that bubbling feeling inside when you've reached a breaking point. The lyrics capture this feeling of panic, "And I will shiver, I will shake / Upon the edge of where I start to break down / And I will teeter on the brink of it / Becoming a part of me now". The song is extremely relatable to anyone who has been left confused by the ways of the world. Along with words that strike you to the core, 'First Encounters' also features soaring instrumentals that build up as the song progresses.
