With the release of their sophomore EP Big Day fast approaching next month, Wisconsin born and Chicago based quartet Slow Pulp has shared their latest tune ‘High’.
‘High’ finds itself somewhere between a lullaby and anthem, with the two opposing sounds portraying the track’s inner angst. The initial portion of ‘High’ feels like being caught amidst a daydream, with the hazy vocals and delicate guitar strumming possessing a tranquil energy. Once ‘High’ reaches the chorus, the powerful sounds of the drums and thunderous guitars collide through the track, channelling a feeling of panic and nervousness.
Until it’s time to devour their new EP on May 15th, take in ‘High’ below.
