LA-based trio Pinky Pinky last week announced their debut album Turkey Dinner — along with the exciting album news, they also shared their brand new single 'My Friend Sean', which follows in the footsteps of their previous single 'Do Me Dirty (Charlie)'. They're also set to appear at The Great Escape, Dot to Dot Festival, This Is Not A Love Song and Bonnaroo. Before it's time to enjoy the album on June 14th, learn a little more about 'My Friend Sean' with Pinky Pinky below.
We wrote ‘My Friend Sean'... two years ago in San Francisco when our flight was cancelled. We decided to hit the town and while we were out, a boy named Sean was very kind to us. We fantasized about him.
The story behind ‘My Friend Sean’... is about the hottest boy in school.
My favourite lyric is... "those pattern jeans, his ass busts through the seams"
It was made... to fulfil your school kid fantasies.
Our main inspiration was… Sean.
It sounds best... when the volume's all the way up and the lights are all the way down and so are your pants.
