LA-based singer-songwriter Tessa Violet has unleashed her brand new tune ‘I Like (the idea of) You’.
'I Like (the idea of) You' sees Tessa Violet rework her previous track ‘Bad Ideas’, which was released last November. Her new single features the same story as ‘Bad Ideas’ but from a flipped perspective. The track reflects on obsessing about a crush and seeing someone new even though that person is probably not good for you. She sings, “I try convincing my friends that you’re not right for me / We just don’t make any sense but still you fight for me.”
The track is full on infectious pop grooves that you’ll be hooked to instantly — especially in the chorus. There’s also an alluring bassline that will leave you grooving. 'I Like (the idea of) You' is exactly what you want to be blasting aloud when getting ready.
