Birmingham band Violet recently unleashed their single 'Wilt' (via HolyHowl), which follows in the footsteps of their previous tracks 'Heaven Adores You' and 'Jaded'. Released late last month, 'Wilt' is an addictive offering by the band.
The track has an anthemic quality — all it takes is one listen and you'll be hooked, and before you know it, you've listened to it on loop for over an hour. 'Wilt' also features an array of intriguing layers and textures, whether it's the doses of reverb, warm guitars or commanding percussion. Lyrically, the track is about self-reflection and adapting to new situations "heavenly little gloom, cause it’s only a matter of time, cause I can never live without you, and I’m not ready for the change."
