We never thought we needed a collab between Julian Casablancas, Mac DeMarco and Kirin J. Callinan, but here we are. Casablancas' band The Voidz have unleashed their brand new song 'The Eternal Tao' (via Terrible Records) and it's every level of weird in the best way possible.
'The Eternal Tao' finds itself between a euro-pop rave and an outer space dance party. It's unnerving and dizzying, but that's also part of its charm. As the track progresses, Casablancas ups the autotune and elevates the track further into another world. 'The Eternal Tao' also features some rapping from Casablancas in a computerised tone, including words such as "Now we build statues of robots / Humanity is already a memory."
