Cape Town band HONEYMOAN late last month unveiled their dazzling new single 'Low Blow', which is set to appear on their upcoming EP Body. The release of Body is fast approaching, with it due to be revealed on June 28th.
'Low Blow' possesses an enticing rhythm fused with psych-rock inspired instrumentals. Despite the track's luring quality, the words are fierce in the way they explore a one-sided relationship — "Why do I want this so bad? / I'm here again, I hate this game / I should move on I know that." On the track, the band said via Earmilk, "tells the familiar tale of wanting to bang someone who doesn't want to bang you back and attempting to maintain one's self-esteem in the face of rejection."
