Berlin-based band People Club have kicked things off in mighty style with their debut single 'Better'. Though the band are located in Berlin, the members all hail from United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia. It might be their first-ever single, but it's an exciting start and we're eager to hear more.
According to vocalist Sarah Martin, "The lyrics were inspired by the universal addiction to disassociation; how we mindlessly lose hours by scrolling through social media or fervently consuming a TV series in one sitting. I wanted to encourage people to refocus their time and energy on their art or other priorities and to assure them that they can do -- and be -- better?"
Along with being the self-improvement jam that we all need, the track is also home to catchy lyrics, shadowy guitars, and lifting synths.
