New York-based Shura has shared an enticing taste of her upcoming album with her brand new single 'religion (u can lay your hands on me)'. Her sophomore album forevher is set to be released on August 16th via Secretly Canadian.

The song, which was primarily written about her relationship with her girlfriend, dives into the unquenchable feeling of longing. The track also explores the concept of sex being like a religion. The track also reflects on how distance can only amplify these feelings — "We’ve been talking on the telephone for hours at night / Whilst I’ve been thinking about kissing you." Along with being packed with passion, 'religion (u can lay your hands on me)' will get you grooving instantly.
