We're thrilled to today share Taylah Carroll's video for the ever-so-beautiful 'Vermont'. The track is a moving exploration of personal baggage and how this can sometimes alter behaviours in a relationship. The stirring single is only amplified further by the captivating visuals directed by Nick Mckk, who has previously worked on videos for Stella Donnelly and Julia Jacklin.
The filming of 'Vermont' didn't exactly go to plan, with their original idea of filming the clip at a bowling club falling through. After a couple of complications, the video was filmed in Mt Martha. Taylah Carroll said, "You get really emotionally attached to your ideas sometimes, and it’s hard to let go when they become logistically impossible to bring them to fruition. But, I’m really proud of what we put together, and we ended up filming in this beautifully wack house. It’s like this 70’s swingers den that my family friends are renting. We wouldn’t have got those shots if it wasn’t for all the last-minute troubleshooting."
