Melbourne-based artist Candy has come through with yet another exquisite and moving single with his latest tune 'Familiar'. Along with playing a couple of shows in Victoria recently, Candy will be joining Moaning Lisa on tour starting this week.
'Familiar' sees Candy tenderly reflect on dementia — including forgetting who you are and those who you love. On the song, Candy said, "Familiar' came about while I was at work and was reading the Werribee newspaper. There was a pretty tragic story about a family and dementia that really stuck with me. My grandmother had passed away recently, who suffered from dementia, so I kinda took from that article and my own situation."
